Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 DOE

Do you have good Team Management / Leadership skills?

I am currently seeking TWO Key Account Team Leaders to assist the Key Account Operations Manager with all administrative and customer service functions within the logistics operation of this large client. You will be expected to perform all related duties to a high standard of customer service and administration in respect of the Customer and Contract. You will need to be polite, diplomatic and focused on query resolution. Your duties within the department will include the following:
· To work closely with Management to develop cohesive working relationships
· Main point of contact for Key Accounts client base
Manage Client supply-chain requirements from origin to destination
· To manage the staffing requirements of the contract including the development of training plans for the team
· To oversee and contribute to bespoke system developments
· To act as main operational point of contact and escalation
· To ensure suppliers are monitored and targets met
Host client, supplier & internal reviews
· To oversee freight movements and support the team in order facilitating customer requirements
Investigate all requests and resolve in a timely and succinct manner
· Comply with deadlines
· To provide timely and accurate KPI and ad-hoc reports to management and customer
Ensure high standards of information and accuracy are maintained
Oversee system requirements and development.
Promote a positive and supportive working environment equally for all members of the team
Monitor and control accounting functions
· To ensure the team maintain Health and Safety standards and observe best practices in relation to any other work related laws
You will need to demonstrate first class customer service skills, exemplary attention to detail and accuracy and proven experience in a busy environment. In addition, you should have experience of managing a team and the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines. Strong competences in Excel (with Macro knowledge a bonus).
