SALARY: £50,000 to £60,000 DOE + £5,100 Flexible Benefit, 25 days’ annual leave PLUS bank holidays, pension AND other benefits

An internal reorganisation has created an opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant to join the internal management accounts function. The role is key in supporting the firm’s executive and other senior management by providing high quality, timely management information and insight.
The role is supporting the head of firm wide reporting by managing an ever-growing team to deliver an increasing amount of internal deliverables. A significant part of the role will be day to day management of a twelve-strong internal team with varying degrees of experience and qualification. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in working to tight deadlines, being proactive and improving processes.
Responsibilities
Day to day management of management accounts team
Providing financial assistance and insight to support the firms’ alternative delivery review
Reporting of financial data to Global Firm and other external entities
Support to the firm’s COO, CFO and Executive
Planning, forecasting and year end support
Supporting ongoing project work
Reporting of financial data to Global Firm and other external entities
Requirements
The role is for a QUALIFIED accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with post qualification experience of working in an internal accounts department and understanding of the professional services sector. Strong team management, coaching and development skills are essential. Due to the diverse nature of the teams’ internal clients, excellent communication skills and the ability of form relationships at all levels of the business are important. Strong project management skills and an organised and methodical way of working is also a key requirement.
