Salary: £21,500 to £25,000 DOE + unsociable working allowance of £1,500 per annum
Job Purpose
To provide an excellent Customs Clearance service and International Logistics services to my clients valued Customers, using individual knowledge of the industry. Maintain a centre of excellence for issues relating to HM Revenue & Customs.
Principle Accountabilities / Tasks
• Arrange Customs clearance under CFSP and Direct Clearance of Customer products
• Assist in the operation of the Customs and Bond Group
• Assist in the operations of the HV Airfreight
• Liaise with clients and prospective clients
• Processing of sales invoices
• Processing of purchase orders
• Input of data into the FCL system
• Accurate and current completion of Forwarding Dept. records
• Investigate Customs queries and resolve them in a reasonable period of time
• Investigate management queries and resolve them in a reasonable period of time
• Prepare reports for management, as required
• Prepare reports for customers, as required
• Comply with Customer and management deadlines
• Prepare and complete all documentation associate with Customs Warehouse management system.
• Partake in team briefings
• To work within, promote and identify improvements in the company’s quality management system
• Focal Point for the company in relation to those Customers
• Take responsibility for themselves and others at all times, adhering to the health & safety Act 1974.
• Other Duties as requested by management.

• Knowledge of HMRC regulations
• International Transportation Knowledge / Experience

• Use of Customs Software systems (Impatex / ASM)
• Port Inventory Software systems (Destin8 /CNS / CCS-UK)

Salary: £21,500 to £25,000 DOE + unsociable working allowance of £1,500 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 5 days per week - Sunday to Thursday - Sunday (6am to 3pm) AND Monday to Thursday (8.30am to 5.30pm) every Friday and Saturday off
