Salary: £25,000-£35,000 doe

 

The role is for a Web Developer to assist in the support and growth of a Mobile product, a feature rich Single-Page Application driven by a JSON API. The applicant will be responsible for developing new functionality, fixing bugs and enhancing the User Experience of the product as part of a positive, forward looking development team.

 

Required Development Experience:

CSS3

JavaScript ES6 (Classes, Arrow Functions, etc.)

HTML5

Model-View-Controller development

Object-Orientated Programming

 

Advantageous Experience / Understanding of:

Active Record Database pattern and HTTP Protocol

 

Experience With:

Agile development principles

Chrome DevTools

CSS Animations

DOM Manipulation (via jQuery or other)

JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, Vue etc.

JSON Web APIs (building or consuming)

GitHub

JIRA

NodeJS/NPM

Photoshop or similar graphics packages

PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Slim, Symphony

Responsive Web Design

SCSS (or Less, Stylus, PostCSS)

Single-page application design

TypeScript

User Experience design principles

Version control systems, ideally GIT

Webpack

Web Application development

XmlHttpRequests (or the more modern fetch API)

 

Other Languages Used:

C# and the .Net framework (4+)

DotNet Core

PHP (5, 7)

SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL)
