Essential:
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration
Good knowledge of marketing principles
Good understanding of new technologies and applying it to marketing principles
Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
Confident able to work with stakeholders across the board
Very well organised and able to prioritise work load
Works efficiently and effectively under pressure while remaining calm
Creative and open to sharing ideas

Experience in managing and designing PPC campaigns
Experience with Online Lead Funnels (generation, nurturing, scoring and conversion);

Purpose of Job
The purpose of the Marketing Executive’s role includes but is not limited to providing support to the Marketing Department by managing the Marketing Assistant, compilation of marketing materials and literature, for web content, brochures and press releases. Writing and proofread copy for distribution on the online and offline platforms, managing advertising plans and bookings.
Key Competencies
Proven experience as marketing executive or similar role
Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. WebTrends)
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Creativity and commercial awareness
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline
Planning
Work with the Head of Marketing to plan, develop and implement effective marketing communication campaigns.
Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
Compile and execute a content marketing plan
Content Writing
Write copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.
Develop and manage content-based Social Networks and Blog Sites
Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each.
Work with the PR agency to produce content for external media with the assistance of business unit heads
Events
Book events, exhibitions and seminars, oversee the guest list and reviewing impact to the business
Identify, select and booking adverts (based on approval from the Head of Marketing)
Reporting
Assist with the preparation of reports for management on:
Events based on footfall and potential clients to the stand
Website traffic using Google Analytics
Social media performance
Advert to enquiry conversion
Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.
Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign.
Merchandise
Oversee the sourcing of branded merchandise and research competitor branding
Oversee stock checks and record stock levels of branded merchandise
Ad Hoc
Maintain marketing mailing list ensuring they remain current
Seek sign-off from senior management for marketing projects
Oversee the cutting, scanning and filing of a press cutting record
Undertake daily administrative tasks supporting the marketing department
Manage external contractors such as printers, contractors etc
