Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits including bonus, pension, 25 days holiday PLUS bank holiday + one more near Christmas.

 

As Product Manager you will be part of an exciting strategic initiative and this is your opportunity to join this rapidly growing team based in St Albans. The team harness innovative technology and the latest programming techniques to solve clients’ most complex and immediate issues. The team designs and builds innovative solutions to compliance and risk issues in the financial crime and regulatory fields and provide specialist services to large and complex data-driven projects throughout the wider firm.

As a Product Manager, you will:

 

·         Manage product portfolio in excess of £2m revenue p.a.

·         Own the overall product strategy for small products or support the development of product strategy for large products – why will the product appeal to clients

·         Own development and maintenance of the product roadmap and product backlog

·         Lead a solution set across sales / marketing / engineering / support

·         Define key product based KPIs and ensure they are measured, tracked, communicated and acted upon

·         Support the creation of go-to market materials and positioning, in particular through clear articulation of the product’s key features and benefits

·         Support pre-sales activities through key client conversations and product demos

·         Support development of commercial strategy and business cases 

 

Your professional experience

  

·         5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager within a similar products development environment where products have been automated for a commercial and technical offering

·         Demonstrate strong industry understanding

·         Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers to enable commercial model and product prioritisation decisions to be made

·         Understanding of technology, UX and UI processes

·         Understanding and experience of working in an iterative and incremental Agile software development framework, like Scrum

·         Understanding of key market research / marketing techniques

·         Understanding and first-hand experience of full product lifecycle

·         Key deliverables

·         Product roadmaps

·         Release plans

·         Release notes

·         Pricing strategies and models

 

Technical:

 

·         Agile software agile development such as Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft TFS or equivalent beneficial, as is an understanding of Agile framework experience

·         Strong Microsoft Office skills, Excel and PowerPoint in particular

·         Story mapping tools and techniques to illustrate journey mapping

·         Building mock-ups and prototypes to communicate with customers

·         Excellent communication and business engagement and collaboration skills

 


Job Title: Product Manager



Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire (20 minutes from King’s Cross, 40 minutes from Bedford)



Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits including bonus, pension, 25 days holiday PLUS bank holiday + one more near Christmas.



Hours of work: Standard are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm – flexibility and Agile ways of working once embedded into the role
