Salary: IRO £35,000.00
Responsibilities:
Ensure the paint shop facilities are maintained in good working order to meet mandatory H&S standards, including environmental controls. Routine inspections and filter changes to be conducted in conjunction with maintenance.
Produce completion reports and distribute to suppliers for each job carried out by the Paint Shop.
Health & Safety / Risk Assessments including COSHH regulations are enforced at all times including the correct use of PPE, Respiratory Protective Equipment weekly checks, Environmental weekly report.
Paint Shop weekly stock take is carried out and supplies are ordered through the purchasing department. Supplies are to be stored in the paint store and paperwork filed for audit.
Supervise production to ensure the paint shop is the most efficient and customer focused with quality work first time every time. Improve on the current hours looking at processes to continuously reduce the hours per job.
To maintain and keep spray equipment serviced clean and in good working order.
At the end of each day secure the area, maintain good housekeeping in paint booth, prep bay and surrounding areas being affected by the paint shop. Ensure all areas are left in a clean and safe condition.
Training and maintaining appropriate level of staff and skills in line with workload.
Candidates must havecommercial vehicle painting experience along with experience of managing a small team.
Additional Responsibilities:
Attend Production meeting, update management on WIP.
Ensuring materials/stock are ordered for next three jobs.
Solar Panel Invertors, check twice daily they’re operating normally and sign appropriate documentation.
Report any problems to Maintenance and Works Managers.
