he role of the Project Support Analyst is to assist the Project Managers during the project delivery, by undertaking the less complex, repeatable tasks, so allowing the project manager to focus on the core elements of project delivery. The Project Support Analyst will be responsible for delivering certain suites of tasks within defined timeframes.
Key responsibilities and accountability
Supporting the project manager on various tasks as per project requirements to assist in the delivery of the project to the defined scope, timeline and cost
Coordination of resources to deliver specific requirements to ensure project requirements are delivered as per defined timelines and scope
Liaising with clients to gain specific information to support project delivery - Collation and analysis of clients’ environment and requirements to provide visibility to project manager of low level project requirements
Responsibility for various individual work stream deadlines against overall project plan to ensure projects tasks are completed in accordance with project plan, to alleviate pressure on project manager
Knowledge and Qualifications
• Basic technical knowledge of software configuration, usage, installation and infrastructure.
• Theoretical knowledge of project delivery & support best practice
• Understanding of specific challenges in working within software development and delivery
• Prince 2 Foundation
• ITIL Foundation
Essential Experience
• Broad general IT experience
• Strong communication skills
• Proven ability of providing product or customer support
• Experience of working under tight time and quality pressure
