Salary: £50,000 to £56,000 DOE + excellent benefits including 25 days holiday PLUS bank holidays, pension, bonus



This role is part of the MI team within Human Resources (HR) Operations, part of Internal Client Services (ICS) supporting the business. The team is responsible for delivering analytics and key management information and business insights on all people issues to the firm’s Executive, Talent Executive and HR partner as well the Service lines, which is vital to run a successful people based business.

 

Your role

 

You will liaise directly with all levels of people throughout the organisation to establish what processes/procedures are necessary to deliver the correct information to enable them to run their business successfully. You will lead or manage project teams to deliver or develop ideas into actions. You will also have the opportunity, through liaison with the Senior Manager, MI, to take ownership of long term strategic cross functional MI projects.

You will be one of the main points of contact between the HR Technology Governance team, Information Technology Department and HR for HRMI projects.

Team management and leadership of your direct reports and at times acting as matrix manager to other MI Consultants is a vital element of the role. You will be responsible for working collaborative with another Manager, MI, for ensuring workloads are monitored and optimised to maximise the skills within the team, as well as responsibility for performance management and developing and enhancing the careers of the team.

 

·         Complete meaningful career conversations throughout the year, setting SMART objectives and helping people to develop and grow

·         Ensure that the skills of the team are used appropriately to ensure we run an efficient operation as well as providing development opportunities to deepen or widen skill sets

·         Inform and coach on longer term work or processes keeping all team members up to date with progress

·         Look for opportunities to enhance the teams profile and advancement of individuals within the team.

·         Recruiting, inducting and managing team members as and when required

·         Represent the HRMI team when necessary

 

Your professional experience

 

·         Building relationships by developing and understanding the MI across the firm.

·         Close collaboration with HR teams to ensure all HR reporting needs are served via the team.

·         Challenge of existing and development of new processes for creating and sharing MI

·         Development of SAP HR MI capability

·         Development and maintenance of the core HR MI business objects system

·         Development and enhancement of Microsoft Access/Excel MI systems to support the business

·         Continuous improvement and support of the annual pay review processes

·         Being known as the “Go To” person for MI within the business

·         Act as expert or leader on systems development or implementation projects

·         Informing the HR Leadership on how to interpret the data

·         Ensure consistency within the teams work

·         Common/documented approaches

·         To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
