Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team of IT professionals? This team harnesses technology and the latest programming techniques to solve their clients’ most complex and immediate issues. The team designs and builds innovative solutions to compliance and risk issues in the financial crime and regulatory fields and provides specialist services to large, complex, BIG TICKET data-driven projects throughout the wider firm.
You will be:
Experienced at eliciting and documenting business requirements and managing stakeholders as part of either discovery or project delivery (including Business Cases) for application development projects internally and for our clients.
Professional and business focussed with excellent process mapping, business writing and presentation skills.
As a Business Analyst (Assistant Manager/Manager grade) you will:
· Write high quality Business Cases, Use Cases, Requirements Catalogues and BPMN process maps in accordance with project requirements;
· Provide analysis support to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project to ensure business requirements are delivered appropriately;
· Work closely with technical teams (Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure & Operations) to ensure business requirements are accurately converted into technical solutions;
· Define project plans and task breakdowns, providing completion estimates and project timetables;
· Share experience and knowledge in order to enhance the BA team ways of working and overall performance; and
· To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
Requirements
· Preferably ISEB qualified (or equivalent);
· Degree in an IT related discipline; or qualified by experience;
· Experience and knowledge of business analysis principles, methodologies and tools across both Waterfall and Agile projects;
· Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders;
· Ability to focus on detail, transferring into accurate and quality-driven documentation;
· Competent with Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) and writing use cases;
· A team player with the ability to work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner;
· Confident and comfortable to work under pressure and manage a number of tasks simultaneously; and
· Desire to both develop individually and to continually review and develop BA team methodology, working to ensure a positive perception of the team.

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire – Close to St Albans Train Station
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 DOE + Excellent benefits – Looking for candidates of varying levels
Hours of work: Agile working is encouraged – the opportunity to work from home (once through probation). Office is open 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week.
